A LEADING Scunthorpe car dealership awarded a Pounds 2,000 cashprize to one of its customers as part of a competition.
Car supermarket Eddie Wright ran a free competition open toanyone who bought a car or had a test drive during the periodbetween mid-November and mid-December.
The lucky winner was Steve Richardson, of Hatfield, nearDoncaster, and said the prize amounted to about 20 per cent of theprice paid for his car.
About 200 tickets went into the hat, with the winner number 23drawn out by company director Paul Wright.
Bruce Hewitt, Eddie Wright's sales director, said: "We have had avery good year and the idea of the cash prize draw was to givesomething back and to say thanks to our customers.
"As well as the main draw, everyone buying a car during the monthgot Pounds 200 cashback.
"It might seem strange the competition was won by someone fromout of the immediate area, but thanks to the internet and nationalmarketing, people from all over the country are now buying cars herein Scunthorpe."
